More vee vees and crabs

In September, we spent a day in Cheverly helping Grandpa Joe with some yardwork/housework. We took Owen's riding car, and made SEVERAL trips up and down the WHOLE street. This guy can move!
Then we visited with the Smiths for some end-of-summer crabs...Momma enjoyed them, Owen did not.

This guy loves his vehicles! Cars, trucks, busses....all of them! Really, anything on wheels or with a motor...
We had a trip to Wegmans, a riding thing at the park, and Cheverly's Town Safety Day to satisfy his "vee-vee" obsession

Being sick stinks!

Late this past summer, Owen got a yucky stomach virus. It lasted for a few days, and it was rough! We knew he didn't feel himself when we got lots of snuggle time and he even fell asleep on both of us, which he hasn't done in about a year.

After 1 trip to the ER for medicine and a popsicle, we stayed home for a few days and tried our best to not get everyone else sick.

Since my birthday was during sick-stravaganza, we didn't get to celebrate much. Grandma June and Grandpa Joe came over with some cupcakes and dinner, and that was about it.

The good news was, as soon as it was over - Owen was eating like a rock star for a few days!

Montgomery County Fair

Dan and Meghan haven't been to the fair in about a million years, so we wanted to take Owen to check it out! We had fun, but it was HOT. Lots of animals, a newborn calf, a huge sacred cow, and ice cream.
