Eureka Shereika!: First Haircut

As much as we loved it, Owen's hair was getting a little long this summer. The back had a cute little curl to it, but the front was definitely becoming too long. So, one Saturday, we went to Cartoon Cuts in Columbia Mall for Owen's first haircut! There is a woman who works there named Bibi who had wonderful reviews on Yelp...so we waited for her.

Owen was great! He played while we waited, and loved watching all of the other kids! The shop had lots of cartoony pictures and televisions at each station so that the kids could watch their favorite show if they wanted.

Since he still didn't realize what was happening, Owen was even happy when we first sat down! Aaaaand then he quickly realized that this was NOT what he wanted to be doing! Bibi was wonderful, and talked to him while she worked. She offered us a lollipop to try to help - which he had ZERO interest in! Bibi worked quickly and was so patient with us. She did a great job! Even with shorter hair, he's still the cutest!!

For his first haircut, we got a lock of his hair to keep and a certificate. I'm so glad that's over!
